Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items that I have selected will help students explore Science. They will be able to see how plants grow and also discover the life cycle of the butterfly. The rest of supplies will be used to introduce them to STEM projects. They will have the opportunity to discover projects using batteries and learning about circuits.
With these new items, my students will be able to choose from a variety of supplies that will allow them to work independently or with partners in building projects.
I can't wait to see what my students will come up with as they discover about nature and how things move. I will tie these projects into my Science units so that it will be more meaningful and actually see how they work. They will be able to do their own experiments and use the timers to keep time so they will stay on task in order to complete what they are working .
