Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are in a low socioeconomic area, but that is not stopping them from being the best students I have had to date. Many of my students are very intelligent and my goals is to make sure they receive the best education possible with every tool that I can obtain.

My students do not have access to much technology.

My goal is to make my classroom full to technology to help my students advance in every area possible. There are many apps that can help some of my lower students, and there are programs that can help my advanced students become more advanced.

My students are special to my heart and I want them to have the same advances as other students in the district. My goal is to be the best teacher with the best class ever!

My Project

The I Can Read (32 bk set) and Picture Book sets will help keep my students engaged in reading, phonics, and comprehension. The students will increase their reading levels, phonics skills, and comprehension.

With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level.

Books are a way for students to use their minds and imaginations on the places they can go and things that can be accomplished. My students deserve to be able to believe that they are capable of doing and being anything they would like. Starting with books can help my students achieve their goals.
