Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Pre-K is a magical place where the learning is fun, hands on and interactive! Pre-K students learn best when they have engaging materials in their hands and can chose an activity that interests them. In order for that to be a reality, it takes a lot of materials and careful planning.

Our classroom is full of learning areas that cover a variety of subjects: math/science, sensory, language arts, dramatic play, blocks/STEM, visual arts and more.

Some of the materials in the learning areas are switched out each month to match with the theme or subject being taught.

The materials requested in this project will be used to add to the learning areas to help keep learning new and exciting. The counting peg boards will be a wonderful addition to our math area. The number is visually represented and the students will add the correct amount to match. The alphabet books and matching game will help with language and literacy skills. The art painters and treehouse builders will help to strengthen hand eye coordination and ignite creativity.
