This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have a desire to explore new things in an inviting space that allows them to explore computer science with engaging activities. The LEGO bricks and the Robotics will help my K-2 elementary school students build on not just STEM skills, but also on engineering skills needed to complete projects. These supplies will also help students at different levels of autism explore computer science in a way that engages their curiosity. We know students tend to shine with hands-on activities and this is one way to see ALL students shine.
