We Can Do It All!

Help me give my students these great materials for math and hands on activities in our classroom. The cash register helps students with number recognition as well as money recognition and counting to 100.

My Students

Our district has recently received an influx of students. My wish is to have things to support them when they enter our elementary school to make them feel welcome. One of the first things that comes to mind is that the classroom be equipped with options for sitting, writing, learning, etc. Second, do they feel at home and safe? Combining the educational and social aspects will help us create a well rounded environment for growth. Economically, these students are more likely to succeed in their future because of the foundation put in place from the beginning.

My Project

Math is not a strong suit for many of the students in my room. By using the cash register we can focus on numbers and counting as well as recognizing money.

The scissors are a major need in my classroom because there are only a few students who have them.

Also with such a small room having the scissors caddy with help tremendously!

The storage circles are great for us as well because my kiddos are still learning how to stay organized and keep things where they belong. The color coded sections will teach them to remember where things go.
