We Can All Become Better Readers...Here's How!

Help me give my students materials that will help them and their teachers organize lessons to decrease lesson preparation time during reading group instruction.

My Project

Our district has introduced a new reading intervention program that is amazing at helping students learn to read. Each lesson lasts about five days and teaches the students to read with targeted skills. The lessons are stored in a bag, and it is very ineffective for students and teachers to stay organized.

My goal is to organize the materials in a binder with the zipper pockets holding smaller items needed for each lesson.

The students will then be able to easily gather their materials to store in the binder for the next lesson. This cuts down on transition time, leaving more time for the important instruction taking place.

When it comes to reading instruction, every minute counts! We want to build strong readers, not spend time on finding the right materials in a disorganized bag.
