Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The big ticket item: The document camera! This will ensure every student can access lesson materials. These include read-aloud books, math practice problems, phonics worksheets, etc.

Finding authentic Spanish texts is hard!

Please consider helping give my students access to high-quality texts in their native language. These classic books include titles like The Selfish Giant by Oscar Wilde and Don Quixote (the kid-friendly version).

Other books include the Ninja Life Hacks series in Spanish which teaches students social-emotional skills. We've read two books from this series so far and my students love it!

Additional classroom supplies such as the cleaning spray, magnetic hooks, sheet protectors, and plastic folders are needed for cleaning and organization.
