My students need the following materials to help master the English language. Right now I have minimal materials within my classroom to teach these students basic phonics skills.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are kind, respectful, and motivated. What more could a teacher ask for, right? Well, although my students possess all of these amazing traits, the problem I am faced with is a lack of materials within my classroom. My students are English Language Learners and require books on their reading levels. Unfortunately, my classroom does not have a leveled library and I have depleted my ink supply.
So, with a heavy heart, I am asking for funding to get my children the books they need to be successful English language learners.
Please help these brilliant minds reach their full potential!
My Project
If I receive the guided reading materials that I have requested, I will be able to really push my students ahead. My students need materials that are on their reading levels, materials that I just do not have within my classroom.
I have been making due with books that I print from the internet, but my children would benefit more from reading "real" books!
My fingers are crossed and I pray we receive this much needed funding! Please me help my students to master the English language. These materials will really make a huge difference in making reading more engaging and fun!
