Help me give my students supplies to publish their writing. Students will be excited to use new crayons, and hardback books.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal for this project is to give my third grade students supplies to publish their own writing. Students will research a specific natural disaster during our writing time. They will write an informational book about their topic of choice. We will use the hard cover books to become authors. Students will include many colorful illustrations, as well as text features in their writing.
Students will learn how to write an informational text.
Each student will publish a book on natural disasters. When students write their own text, they become better readers.
I am looking forward to integrating science, reading and writing into this project. Thank you for considering a donation.
