Our school is in Forest Hills Queens, NY. We are a bustling community with active learners. Our students love hands-on learning. We are involved with Columbia's Teacher's College, Reading and Writing Project.

My Project
Help me by purchasing a color printer for our first grade class. The printer will be used to publish the writing the students complete throughout this year. The students work on several genres of writing throughout the year and this printer will allow them to print their pieces and publish them to share with friends, the school community and family. When the students see their writing in a typed printed form it empowers them and encourages them to write more. The printer will also be used to make beautiful artistic covers that can be added to embellish their published pieces.
