These LEGO sets will assist children by creating scenes that will inspire students to have discussions which will then spark their imagination to come up with stories. Their stories will be explanations of what they have built and who the characters are, what the scene is, and what the problem and solution to the scene are. After the play session, they can come up with a verbal story which will then help them plan for their writing. The children’s writing will include the characters, setting, problem and solution that were discussed during the play session. Play will lead to talk which will then lead to writing.
