This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are inquisitive curious kindergartners that are eager to learn daily.
My students are amazing children that deserve the best equipment that will enhance their learning opportunities in the classroom.
Most of them come from low income families. There is not a day that goes by where I am not thinking of my students. They go through so much at home, and I want to provide a classroom where they can escape and have fun learning.
They are bright students that love their school, principal, and teacher. They work hard every day to make sure that they are ready for first grade.
My Project
My kindergartners will use these materials for in class projects such as creating math stories, science, social studies projects, and English language learning. Our class does not have a student friendly carpet for whole group learning, and we would love an area where we can sit without distractions from frayed carpet strings and unidentified areas to sit.
With the use of these materials, including glue sticks and scissors, all students will have more resources to help them be more productive in their academic work.
These students deserve a classroom that is properly enriched with resources that will enhance their learning. These students love to be engaged in their work. If provided more resources, the students will benefit with hands-on learning and better academic performances to follow.
