We Are Many...We Need More (Supplies)

Help me give my students access to 1-to-1 supplies like flashlights for Read-to-self time that make learning and class routines run smoothly.

My Project

In the past, I have had around 20 students per class, however, this year I have over 27! I love the students, but my supplies are running short. My white board erasers (black washcloths) covered 20 students leaving us short by seven and I only have 21 Read-to-Self Flashlights! I'm hoping for bookmarks for every book, storage organizer for each set of cards, and wall calendar to track our progress. Dry erase markers are another high impact tool for students. Each student engages with learning by drafting solutions individually. This project communicates to every student that they are valued AND that I expect everyone to participate in learning.

Every student needs to have access to the supplies to make her/his learning meaningful.

Frequently shared supplies are more than adequate, but the items in this project are maximized when individualized. Markers, white board erasers, and flashlights need to be one per person. Our large class size is a great boon: thanks for helping me include every student!
