Thank you so much for your consideration in choosing this project our students. Our school district is in a low-income area near Pittsburgh, PA, and our students need your help. Many of them don't have the necessary resources for learning, including the simplest of supplies: a pencil. We need pencils so students can learn to take good notes in their science workbooks and complete their practice problems. This project includes two bags of candy to use as motivators and prizes for students who put in the effort to study for our unit exams and answer questions during our review days. These students did not have a teacher for much of this school year and I am blessed to be able to come in halfway through the year to continue their learning. However, we have a lot of work to do to learn the cool science the students deserve to explore. Your donation will help us get closer to our goal of becoming better scientists and students.
