My Project
Students need snacks and supplies that go further than the academic space. They need supplies that can help them enhance their mental space, the more mentally and physically healthy and sound a student is the better they can be expected to perform. They all deserve to have access to resources like hygiene products, snacks, and mental stimulation, meditation and strengthening supplies.
My girls would only benefit from knowing that anything that they have access to not only the things they would need for their physical body, but their mental space too.
With the supplies in this project, the girls will be able to come to school without worry, knowing that their needs are covered. Additionally, they can rest assured that the classroom is a place that not only cares for, but prioritizes, their mental health development.
Calming corner supplies, self regulation kits, and mindfulness tools will promote the girls learning how to feel, manage, and develop their emotions - while stimulating learning in a whole different way.
