This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

If you've ever been to Oklahoma you know it is the state where the wind comes sweeping down the plains, and boy does it blow!

We have a big beautiful playground that unfortunately gathers a lot of rubbish, mostly plastic.

Our students will be learning about the environment, the ecosystem, and the importance of pollution control.

My students are inner-city kids who oftentimes do not have many opportunities to explore the natural world. Working on this pollution project and solving puzzles will not only help beautify our grounds but teach important lessons about helping Mother Nature stay safe and clean.
