Our school is in the south west corner of the beautiful Salt Lake Valley. We are at the foot of the Oquirrh mountains. My students are able to see wildlife up close everyday.
The thing I love most about my students is their eager, happy smiles each morning!
They love school and want to learn something new every day.
We would like books to help us learn new social and emotional skills. It is really important for us to welcome new ideas, attitudes, and life lessons into out classroom.
My students are learning how to get along with and understand each other every day. I would like to give them the opportunity for discussion about compassion and accepting diversity through books. I have chosen books that will give us a platform to discuss and understand differences in our community and the world.
My students want to know how to work with each other.
They are ready to learn about cooperation, compassion, and understanding. These books will be an important part of our shared classroom library. It will give us a chance to share ideas and work on our people skills!
