Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

With 18 students in my class, I sometimes find it a challenge teaching to every level.
Using iPads would create a custom learning experience for every student, during both small group instruction and whole group instruction (using the VGA cable). I would be encouraging a community of independent thinkers.
My Project
iPad is transforming the way we teach and learn. Powerful creative tools, interactive textbooks, and a universe of apps and content make for endless learning possibilities.
By creating a large library of apps on the student, with just a tap of the finger, enables me to create a custom folder that fits each student'ÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂs learning level. For example, in one student's folder, they might put a number recognition app. But another student who is ready for adding and subtracting might have an addition and subtraction app, and no need for the number recognition app.
Making folders of apps may seem basic, but it will m a huge difference.
When students picked up their iPad to start learning, they just tap the right folder and go to work! Giving my students easy access to tailor-made learning materials would help them advance much more quickly. Everything they would do on their iPad is completely self-checking, so they get that immediate reinforcement and can move on without my standing right there. Students have the freedom to progress at their own pace.
