My students need acrylic paint, oil pastels and watercolors for their art projects during our fine arts rotation. We also need mixing palettes so we can mix paint colors.
Meet my fifth graders! These students are bright, creative, hardworking and have a passion for learning. My students come from very diverse backgrounds and families, but they all share a passion for the arts. Despite what is going on in their home lives, they are all given an opportunity to become artists, innovators, designers and creators.
My students are always engaged because the arts are integrated into the curriculum at our school.
Students spend the day learning in all subject areas and in specialty art rotations of their choice such as visual arts, performing arts and music.
My Project
All of my students cannot wait until our fine arts rotation each day. It is the time of day when they can take a break from other school subjects and just create. Students will use these art supplies to paint beautiful art pieces like self portraits, lions and peacocks with watercolors and oil pastels and the acrylic paint will be for painting palm frond masks.
These beautiful art projects and the opportunity to create inspire students in many ways.
Teaching at a fine arts school allows students the freedom to experience art in unique ways using a variety of mediums
My art budget has been drastically cut in the past year. Without the help of generous donors, we can not afford even the most basic supplies. Please help me to get my students the supplies we need for a successful art program.
