My Project

Oh yea... my students are very interested in reading books about characters that may look like them, talk like them and have the same social and emotional issues as them. My students are always on the lookout for that one book that makes them think! They really enjoy discussing themes!

My students enjoy a good discussion, "What is the lesson learned", or "What did we learn from these characters?"

The books selected for this project will provoke these kinds of questions. Book clubs are an essential part of our daily reading life in my classroom. Deep discussions are what we are all about! They are so eager to find great books to share.
