Our International Baccalaureate PYP school needs a variety of resources at all grade levels to support our units of inquiry. PebbleGo provides access to books on a variety of topics that are easily accessible to all learners using audio/video media, text highlighting and engaging topics.
Our school is full of excited learners.
We are located in a diverse socioeconomic urban area. Students come from a variety of backgrounds and experience. They enjoy learning about topics both local and global. Our students enjoy technology and would be motivated by accessing engaging books and information on PebbleGo.
My Project
All Crooked Creek students, grades K - 5, will have access to engaging online informational text with a subscription to PebbleGo. With an emphasis on non-fiction text in all subject areas, the topics available on PebbleGo, will allow students to learn and research a variety of topics. With engaging text, audio and video capability, diverse learners can access information in a way that helps them easily learn and organize what they are studying. Even our youngest students can read and listen, share information with others and write reports to present in class. The four databases - Social Studies, Biographies, Animals and Science - give students a variety of topics to research and learn about!
