Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am a teacher at a Title I school with a population of over 70% English Language Learners and 100% free and reduced-price breakfast/lunch; making this school at high risk/high need. The majority of our kids are struggling with so many outside challenges.
School is the one place our kids can feel loved, supported, safe, and secure!
My Project
These past few years have been one of the most challenging years for our students. I knew that this year, I wanted to really create a classroom where they feel loved and motivated. Items in this project such as fidget toys and stickers will be used to motivate students throughout the week to learn to their fullest potential. The printer will be used to print out academic resources to assist student's learning. The classroom rug will bring a comfort of flexible working area for my students.
Donating to our project will not only grow their brains, but also their love towards the classroom.
