Our day starts with me asking my students to raise their hands if they are smart!! My whole class always raises their hands and I have them tell me how they are smart!!
My classroom is a mixture of SPED and GT.
Many students do not like to start their day without the proper materials ready to go. Our campus has families that are very involved in their child's education, we have a natural habitat that the students participate in an ecology program.
My Project
Students in my classroom will be able to use the pencil sharpener at the beginning of the day so they are prepared for their work. All too often students will be bothered by the noise of a sharpener interrupting their work, so being able to do this at the beginning of the day will help. The colored paper will be used for newsletters to keep parents involved in classroom updates.
These donations will help my classroom so that I do not have to ask students to bring in pencils and alleviate some stress from the parents.
As a teacher I do not like to ask for too many items. As a parent I know the costs of having more than one child in school and supplies are not cheap.
