This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What makes my students special is their desire to learn. They love utilizing the classroom tables for literacy and math activities, games, and other materials associated with both subject areas when learning.
Currently, we are in need of one more round table.
This table will help eliminate overcrowding that occurs when students are working at the tables because it will allow for each student to have his or her own individual space instead of some students sharing table areas. It will also allow for each student to have an assigned seat area that he or she can use on a daily basis. Students deserve to have their own space in the classroom. It allows for learning to occur smoothly as well as comfortably, which sends a message that they belong.
