This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students attend a TK-5th grade, Title I income, school in the heart of San Diego, CA. 100% of the students receive free breakfast and lunch every day. Our 3rd grade students and students with Mild-to-Moderate Disabilities are filled with wonder, joy, and creativity. They are motivated to showcase their growth. Each student represents different academic levels, but all have the shared goal to strive for their best.
Our students have worked hard all year, and we feel they deserve to be appreciated for their efforts.
Students are often distracted by state testing, due to being hungry nervous, or tired. They require snacks to feed their brain and refuel their body to do their best! We believe these snacks and motivational notes will encourage and motivate our students.
