This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
You might be wondering what t-shirts, water sandals, baseball caps, sunblock, and books have to do with STEM? These are all essential for creating an engaging, hands-on learning experience for our students while conducting STEM investigations involving water! These materials will enable us to safely and comfortably conduct outdoor water science projects, helping students learn about water conservation and the water cycle through direct interaction with water. By providing the necessary gear, students can focus on learning without the distraction of discomfort or safety concerns, fostering a more inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Our primary goal is to inspire a love for science and environmental awareness in our students by exploring water conservation and the water cycle in a hands-on, memorable way.
We want to make science accessible and enjoyable, breaking down barriers to learning and ensuring that each student feels equipped and eager to participate. By supporting this project, you will help create a nurturing and stimulating learning experience that allows our students to thrive.
