My students are amazing and unique, each and every one. I love them dearly and have missed them SO MUCH this year! I cannot wait to see them in the clinic this fall!
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I will be providing treatment and medications in multiple locations.
In order to transport medications safely from room to room and outdoors for an event or evacuation, I will be using a locking cart on wheels. I need to have clean drinking water for students to drink both in the clinic and on the cart. Due to COVID-19, public water fountains will not be in use this school year, so access to filtered drinking water at all times is essential.
My Project
Students will not have access to water fountains this year and will be tasked with keeping track of their water bottles to refill at bottle filling stations. The addition of the bottle filling stations is a wonderful resource, but students will not carry their water bottles everywhere.
When a child comes to the clinic to take medications or is unwell and needs to stay hydrated, having clean water to drink is very important.
One dispenser will be placed on my rolling medication cabinet to take to my post for outdoor activities such as field day and the Mariner Marathon, and the other will remain in the "SPA" (sick-person-area). Thank you so much for assisting me with this very important project!
