Help me give my students access to drinking water all day. I believe in healthy minds and healthy bodies and drinking water is the best way to get both!
Our school has some of the most dedicated and creative students in Utah. These students come from over a dozen countries and speak many languages.
Our school is committed to teaching the whole child in order to reach academic and personal success.
I am always looking for ways to enhance education for all my students. Living in the second driest state in our country I also want to be sure my students have access to enough drinking water during the day.
My Project
I believe students need to drink more water. I know students drink more water when they have water bottles at their desk. I have places water bottle holders and water bottles on the desk before and the students really like them and used them. I now have a larger class, close to 35 possible, and I need to get enough water bottles for all these students. Plus, drinking fountains at my school are inaccessible to students in wheelchairs and I want all my students to have equal access.
Water bottles in holders are the way all students have access to drinking water all day without having to but the bottles on the floor.
I don't like clutter and I trip over things easily so the holders are an amazing solution to both these problems.
