This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
There has been a transition for our students to one location from another. Our previous location had functioning water fountains and fresh water. Unfortunately, I am not able to say the same thing about the new building we are in. My students are not able to bring open drinks into the building and there is not fresh water in the building for them.
Help to provide my students with drinkable water to stay hydrated during the school day.
My students should be able to have clean filtered water during their school day. My students are constantly asking for bottles of water, because they are thirsty. Being able to alleviate one worry, as simple as a bottle of water, would be tremendously helpful.
