My Project

Water Day is one of the most joyful events of our school year—a well-deserved celebration for students who’ve worked incredibly hard during state testing. With giant water inflatables, Super Soakers, tasty snacks, and a picnic-style lunch, it’s a day filled with laughter, fun, and the simple joy of being a kid. Thanks to generous donations, most of the essentials are already in place—but we still have a vital need.

Over the past few years, we’ve noticed that some students don’t attend Water Day—not because they don’t want to, but because they don’t have a swimsuit or swim trunks.

The fear of not fitting in or standing out due to a lack of proper attire keeps them from joining the fun. This year, we’re committed to making Water Day inclusive and equitable for every student by providing swimsuits to those who need them.

We’re asking for your help to purchase new swimsuits and swim trunks for about 25 students. Your donation, no matter the size, will ensure that all of our kids feel confident, included, and ready to celebrate their accomplishments. Let’s make sure no child misses out on this day of joy and recognition—because every student deserves to feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
