Water Cycle Brought to Life

My Students

I have a class of 26 students eager to learn every day. They enjoy learning about the world around them-especially with the topic of science. Science has quickly become their favorite part of the day. It is never long enough.

They are great friends with each other and support one another.

They focus on giving each other "put ups" and not "put downs" to help foster a learning environment. We have a classroom environment that makes learning fun and safe.

My Project

As part of the science curriculum I teach my students about the Water Cycle. We learn about the steps of the Water Cycle and why it is important to conserve water.

What better way to learn about the Water Cycle than with a model that can be set up in the classroom.

This model will be used in my classroom for the students to be able to see all the parts of the cycle happen inside the classroom. We will draw conclusions, make inferences and observations, and generate questions to further the students' understanding of the water cycle by using this model.
