Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This school year I have noticed that many of our third grade students are requesting extra water breaks on a regular basis after they have come back from recess. Some of my students have asthma and having a bottle of water would be very helpful to have during recess or after recess.

While some of our students have their own water bottle to bring from home, many students do not.

We are requesting regular-size (16.9 oz.) bottles of water that can be refilled at our hydration stations that are in the hallways when students are transitioning between classes. The sticker will allow students to personalize their water bottles so they can care for them and not lose them.

Having these bottles of water to drink will help let our students focus on their work without having the distraction of being thirsty. Please help us get enough water bottles to last us for several more months! My students and I thank you in advance for your kind donations and your support!
