This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting a set of water bottles and headphones for my classroom. My students are in need of a good, clean water bottle for the school year. In place of water fountains, we offer water stations where each student can fill up their own water bottle.

Unfortunately some of my students are not able to bring one, so I would love to be able to provide this for them.

It will help them stay hydrated and healthy. A water bottle to call their own especially because we live in the desert. I am asking for headphones because my students need them for our laptops. We use them daily and unfortunately this item seems to break so easily. In the daily use, the cords are very sensitive and can ware thus leaving some students with only one side working or not at all. It would be so wonderful to be able to have these ready so our learning does not get interrupted. As for my classroom odds and ends, I am asking for a stapler that is known for not jamming and I am able to use it to put things up on my walls and bulletin boards. I included a book to help me reinforce the importance of writing their name on their work and a game and play-doh to use during Stem or "Friday Fun!"
