This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It may seem trivial but by providing students a personal water bottle, they are able to drink water when needed and no time is wasted at the drinking fountain.
5 year-olds love to play with the drinking fountain and unfortunately a lot of time is wasted during this transition.
By providing each child with their own water bottle, I can fill them up daily and every child will be able to have access to water while they are working at their tables.
My students are energetic and kind and a lot of their sweet parents are unable to provide a classroom water bottle for their child. By providing the same water bottle for each classmate also creates equity and inclusion.
