We are a group of first graders who love to do as many outdoor projects that we can! We want to transform our flower beds in the back yard into butterfly gardens so that we can learn about not only the plants, but the butterflies as well. We would also like to use the bird feeders to study and learn about different birds as they come to our windows to eat.
We would also like to raise butterflies in our classrooms to study their life cycles up close.
We believe that the best way to learn is to study them, but to also see them in real life.
We believe that this hands science experience will be an amazing learning opportunity for our students!
