Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is made up of a diverse community which allows us to learn from everyone. We bring our thinking caps to school with all of our outside knowledge and share this with the rest of our class. This allows our students to learn and think outside of the box. During COVID our students did not get the opportunities to work together as a team and collaborate. Hands on projects and lessons had to be modified for students to work alone as well as not being able share material. With these engineering blocks our students will be able to work together in groups by building, sharing and creating. By allowing our students to work together they get the sense of pride by being creative in groups. This also allows them to work together by learning positive communication skills which is essential in their future.
