Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I teach in an environment, where students are not accustomed to having fresh fruit and other produce. Additionally, it's rare to see fruits growing in their communities. These students are often extremely private about what they are lacking.

Our project will give my students an awesome opportunity to grow fresh fruits to share with their peers and with their families our school, I often rewarded students with nutritious snacks.

Students knew that I always had healthy snacks. Now, our students will be able to grow their own fruits while enhancing our environment.
