Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

"Underprivileged and no money." That's what my students are. They are the most excited 4th grade students. They want to learn and I want to teach them. They deserve to have some new tools to learn with. Learning should be fun. That way students do not even realize they are learning. My students need to be exposed to a higher level way of thinking.

No money and having only broken TVs and VCR's to share with the entire school does not allow for planned or even spontaneous enhancement of teaching points. Our fourth grade class does not have the opportunity to view movies and educational films.

We want a Panasonic DVD player in order to watch and learn through videos. We have a TV already but nothing to play the films on. We are currently study various topic in all subject areas and there are great films, documentaries and movies that coincides with the curricular activities we are studying.

Please help us learn more. Please bring education to higher levels in our class. We would love to have this DVD player in order to do so.
