My Students

We are always busy in the pre-k room but I would not have it any other way. We are busy learning about everything but we would love more math activities! My kids are great and love to help each other and help me whenever possible.

My students are amazing!

They are so full of life and love, you cannot help but love them. They love to learn and experience new things. Our culture is so diverse at our school with students speaking over 11 different languages! Our school climate is wonderful. The teachers, staff, and students all work together to create the best school we can. Since our school is in high poverty area we do not receive extra funds for materials in our classrooms. Our school has a free or reduced lunch rate of 98%, therefore parents are unable to give money or resources to our class as well. We depend on people like you to give our students new and educational materials to enrich their learning experiences. We appreciate anything you are able to give in, everything helps our students learn and prepare for a better tomorrow!

My Project

We work hard all school year to learn our letters, letter sounds, and numbers. I am asking for several different letter games in order to help us do that. Learning letters, letter sounds and numbers are hard. I struggled when I was younger to learn these things so I understand the challenges that these things bring! These are the first steps in to being successful in school. I believe with incorporating fun new games it will increase my students learning ability and they will have FUN doing it! At 3, 4, and 5 years old school should not be boring or stressful! We should be having a great time and LEARNING at great deal at the same time. What better way to learn then through hands-on games and manipulatives? These are items that we will use throughout the school year. My goal is to have all my students ready and prepared for kindergarten! With these items they will be one step closer to reaching that goal!

These materials will provide a new way to learn and think!
