My students need a variety of independent reading books, including a number of popular series like "The Spiderwick Chronicles" and "Anne of Green Gables".

This project is fully funded

I teach a group of inquisitive and wonderful fifth grade students in an urban school. They absolutely love to read and devour books at an amazing pace! Because we don't have a library at our school it is up to me to keep a stocked classroom library to keep the students reading.

Of course, there aren't many funds for books. What little I can spend on books doesn't seem to go far and I find myself dipping into my own wallet more often than not. Even so, I just can't keep up with their appetite for reading. We are constantly in need of new books! The students have a long list of books they'd like to see and I simply must find a way to provide them.

If we had a generous donor like you I would be able to do this. I have written this proposal for a variety of books that the students want to read like Erin Hunter's Warriors series, and classics such as Anne of Green Gables. We need YOU to help us out and fill our library with wonderful books to keep my students reading.
