They them add that title to their \"To Be Read\" list. I might also read just the first chapter of the book to get students interested. My schools knows the importance of time spent reading and being able to choose what books you read. I try to get to know the students and their reading preferences to help them find books they WANT to read. We use this information to help build our reading habits, but also to build upon our \"reading community\". Students at our school \"talk\" books. They recommend books to one another and take pride when they realize they have read a book that is being mentioned.
