My Students

I have a wonderful group of students this year. My students come from a variety of backgrounds which allow our classroom to be a place of lots of cultural and diverse learning. Some of my students are receiving free or reduced-price lunch. My students work hard so they can play hard!

My students are a family.

They face very similar struggles and challenges. Most of them have been together since kindergarten and will continue together until high school graduation. My students are "my kids" and I want to do anything and everything I can to help them be successful.

My Project

My students next year will not have any science or math centers. After the pandemic, students might not be coming back in the same format as we have used in the past. We are not sure what the next school year will look like, but we know it probably won't look the same. I am requesting science and math manipulatives to help my students continue their learning online and at home!

To ease the fear and anxiety of my students, I would love to have fun science and math centers ready for them to use!

My class will be focused on the life cycle portion of our Science Core Standards so we need some manipulatives and visuals to help the students learn the material. We also need games to practice fluency in math. They are games that they can do alone or with a partner if our health and safety guidelines allow us to do that.
