My Project

My students come from a rural Utah town. Our moderate poverty school has many students who are receiving free or reduced-price lunch. Despite their circumstances, my students are hardworking, dedicated, and eager to learn. They deserve the same experiences, equipment, and tools, including technology, that other more affluent middle schools offer.

My students and I are grateful for any materials donated to our classroom that can enhance the learning experience.

School is a great place to learn and have fun! This project will provide one convection apparatus per 4 person lab group. They will experience convection in gas form close up as a visible convection current forms, flows, and cycles.

Science class needs to have as many hands-on, engaging, real-world, applicable lessons as possible to encourage life-long learning.

Please help our school by providing my 6th graders with convection apparatuses for a fun-filled science lab experience. Thank you!
