My Project

I teach at a highly diverse school that implements a full inclusion philosophy.

This makes it a truly special unique community where we continuously strive to develop our knowledge and skill set to meet the everchanging needs of our students.

I watch the students laugh, grow, and exude the magic that I work to facilitate.

In truth, I feel that I gain much more from them than they gain from me.

Watching students as they grow, open up to new ideas, and have those "light bulb" moments is a true joy. Especially when, in those "light bulb" moments, students are so eager to share their learning and insights with their friends.

This is why I am asking for your help in purchasing an interactive smart board for my students. I have collaborated with my grade level team for years to create so many amazing visual, tactile and kinesthetic learning experiences using computer software throughout the years. These activities have the ability to be interactive. The only problem is that students aren't getting the full experience of interacting with activities because we do not have the technology to give them that first-hand experience.

This is where you come in. With your help toward purchasing an interactive smart board, my students will be able to take part in these learning experiences throughout the day. An interactive whiteboard will allow my students to be creative, independent and empowered.

My students are truly a joy, and your contribution will be something that they will not only grow from but will be truly grateful for. Thank you so much for your support. You are so appreciated!
