Help me give my students healthy new cool snacks and drinks when the weather heats up by reusing left over fruit, vegetables, and yogurts from breakfast and lunch.
Our student receive free breakfast and lunches that come with many fruits and vegetables that normally will be wasted. We all know the health benefits of fresh fruits and vegetables, but getting students to eat them is a challenge. I would like to prevent this waste of food by turning it into juice and shaved ices that the students will enjoy.
This juicer, ice cream maker, and ice shaver will prevent waste and allow our students to make their own fresh juice instead of processed juices which have a lot of sugar and other unhealthy ingredients.
It will also allow the students to use leftover yogurt to make frozen yogurt and shaved ices which will be a healthy treat when the weather warms up.
Please help give our students new fresh healthy snacks to enjoy with their school meals, which will lead to better overall health.
