Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

This is truly an unfortunate time for so many people across the nation. As the distant learning is in full affect, it is necessary to be creative to go the extra mile. Providing the students with the tools and resources is so important. Due to this economic hardship, I think students can really benefit from the necessities that we all are in dire need of.

Majority of my students are from low income families, and providing them with the best virtual experience will help make the transition a little easier.

I am willing to go the extra mile, but I will need help to get the resources in order to make this experience more enjoyable and fun for them. I also would love to send some small tokens of necessities to help alleviate the stress since a lot of the parents are not working.

My Project

These materials will help me supply the resources for families who have had a hard time providing some of the main necessities. I know it may not be a lot, but I believe something is better than nothing.

Providing soap and wash cloths will be one less thing a guardian will have to think about during this time.

Washing away the worries physically and mentally will help some families alleviate some of the stress that this pandemic have caused. I believe this small gesture will be very kind and I would love to have the resources to help.
