This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we gear up for another exhilarating season, we're turning to you, our valued community, for support that goes beyond the soccer field. The specific items we're requesting, such as fleece tops, will make a significant difference in our students' ability to focus and perform at their best during soccer practices and games, especially considering the weather conditions we faced during our first experience at State playoffs in windy Chicago.

Despite the challenges, our boys varsity team emerged triumphant, winning the conference last season.

What makes our students truly special is their exceptional dedication and teamwork, both in the classroom and on the field. This diverse group of students brings a wealth of cultural connections to the team, enriching our experiences and fostering a sense of unity and family. Hailing from neighborhoods like Back of the Yards and Englewood, our soccer program continues to grow as we welcome newcomers, striving to make every student feel at home within our team and our school community.
