This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school community faces unique challenges. It's our responsibility to ensure that every student has access to the basic necessities that contribute to their well-being and academic success. This project aims to provide essential supplies, including coats, food, and other resources to address the diverse needs of our students.

Winter can be especially harsh and many of our students lack proper winter attire.

Through your generous contributions, we aim to provide warm coats to students who may otherwise face the cold without adequate protection. By ensuring our students are dressed warmly, we are not only promoting physical well-being, but also creating a more comfortable learning environment.

A hungry stomach should never hinder a student's ability to concentrate and learn. This project seeks to establish a resource of non-perishable food items that can be discreetly distributed to students facing food insecurity. By alleviating hunger, we empower our students to focus on their studies and reach their full potential.

In addition to coats and food, we recognize the need for various resources to support our school counselor in addressing the unique challenges our students may be facing. Your support will enable us to provide essential items such as school supplies, hygiene products, and other resources that contribute to the overall well-being of our students.

Your donation to this project will not only provide immediate relief but will also create a foundation for a more supportive and nurturing learning environment. Together, we can ensure that every student in our school community has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of the challenges they may face outside the classroom.
