My Students

My students are hands-on learning students. While many of my students suffer from anxiety, depression, and trauma, they still need to have a safe place where they can learn and understand what they're learning Throughout the day, my students get overwhelmed with school and home life. My classroom has become a safe place where they're free to vent without judgment. Help me bring some ease to my students, by providing them with something to snack on in between meals or when needed.

My Project

These snack items will be used to help not only my students but any student that that comes to school hungry or gets hungry thought out the day. Food insecurity should not limit students potential. Although breakfast and lunch are provided for students while they attend school, this isn't enough. Many of our students only receive the meals giving to them at school and have to wait until the next school day to receive another meal. This project will provided a light snack to those in need and my students will have one less thing to worry about while in my class.
