The items I am asking for will help my students feel warm and special. They are students who live in a poverty stricken area and sometimes a snack will help them keep working and feeling warm. The hats and gloves will keep them warm as they walk to school and play at recess. The blankets will be extra special for them to sleep at night knowing that someone cares. Everyone needs a blanket that wraps you up, giving you the hug to forget about the bad things in life and get a good night's sleep. My goal is to show my students how much I care and I am so proud of how hard they work.
My students are all so special; not only are they learning to read, but they are getting the confidence to learn and not give up.
They are the special needs students that need extra hugs and encouragement to work hard. I am so proud of them and how far they have come. This gift will put a smile not only on their faces, but mine as well as they will wear their hats with pride.
